Area of rescue is typically used in high-rise buildings and is an area located usually under a stairwell. It´s main purpose is for anybody who needs help, such as a wheelchair-bound person, to be able to press a button or lift a receiver to have his or her call dispatched accordingly. It could be as simple as somebody
coming down to help the person up the stairs if there is no elevator, or if the elevator is of restricted access, to open it to enable them to access the building. It can also be used for other emergencies, such as in underground parking facilities, to alert the dispatcher of the event. The duress button or receiver can connect directly with 911 or with onsite security staff that would later alert
the appropriate authorities or emergency personnel, depending on whether the emergency is a fire, a threat or any other issue. IFSS not only installs area of rescue, but every other imaginable security system, and we have the technology, the ability and the experience to provide a turnkey security service that starts at the drawing board and ends with the maintenance and service of the system. Other
security systems IFSS provides are alarm systems, sound systems, surveillance, CCTV, access control, mass notification, and point to point wireless networks.
